| Welcome to the Portrait Gallery. The portraits
you see in here are to give you an example of the type of portrait work
I do. These examples are not for sale. I work in Pencil, Watercolor,
oil, and Pastel. I prefer to work from a photograph or a series of photographs.
That way there is no need for the subject of the portrait to sit long hours,
and this is good. They don't have to put up with all my bad jokes....

 This is a portrait of my Father. He was 79 years old when this was done. He is now 89. The work is done in pencil and is 11 x 14 inches in size. |
 This is a portrait of my Mother. It was recently (Sept. 06) painted from a 65 year old photo that was torn. It is oil on canvas and is 16 x 20 in size. Mom is now 89. |
